Tardis cleans up fleet reliability with MAN

Rigids
Tardis Environmental has taken delivery of an MAN TGM 26.340 6x4, with the tipper chassis, fitted with a Whale tanker, as part of a replacement programme for its 100-strong fleet.

“I will be looking to take four more MANs in the near future as vehicles need replacing,” states Robin Boydon, director of the Walsall-based operator.

“They represent such value for money, he says, adding: “We have a mixed fleet of about 100 trucks and our experience is that the MAN is the most reliable vehicle we have.”

Boydon explains that he picked up a 2009 plate MAN from Scottish Water and since acquiring the vehicles has never experienced any problems.

“That and the fact that the MAN brand offers value for money made the decision easy for us.”
