Handling equipment manufacturer Terberg DTS has announced that all its technicians have now received irtec licences, following the company's decision earlier this year to adopt irtec accreditation throughout the UK business.
The Halifax-based firm – which makes distribution tractors and specialist shunters – says the decision to put its technicians through the scheme will differentiate the company.
"By recognising and then further developing technical competence throughout the company with the irtec accreditation, we believe that our customers will benefit from the even higher standards and credibility of our service and maintenance capability," says Alisdair Couper, Terberg's managing director.
To achieve the licence, each technician completed a two-stage assessment of their theoretical and practical skills.
