The linings are currently housed in transparent, unprinted film, within an outer box. The film will be replaced with a sturdier, yellow version, which will also feature a lattice print with the Textar logo on it, and the outer packaging will be discontinued.
Sue McKay, global category manager commercial vehicles at TMD Friction, says: “With the new packaging, we will not only bring the strong Textar brand to the forefront, but also increase counterfeit protection in the fight against product piracy… We want to protect retailers and workshops from it and make it easier for them to identify the original Textar product with its unique packaging.
“It is important also that we are considering the environment and the use of an outer box will discontinue.”
