More than 2,500 drivers from 31 countries are about to test their skills in the Optifuel Challenge, a driving competition organised by Renault Trucks to promote fuel-efficient driving.
Held every two years, the fourth Optifuel Challenge starts with a series of pre-selection trials before national winners take part in the grand finale, taking place in Spain from 17-19 October 2017.
“Optifuel Challenge aims to be all about promoting fuel-efficient driver behaviour, which in turn drives down operators’ overheads,” says Tony Owen, Renault’s transport solutions manager.
