Pulham & Sons Coaches has taken delivery of a new Volvo B11R, citing vehicle style and “superb fuel economy” as key factors in its decision.
The Gloucestershire-based coach operator's latest addition is a two-axle vehicle with 53 seats and Jonckheere bodywork, and joins its 65-strong fleet, 38 of which are now Volvos.
"We identified the Volvo B11R as the right choice for our requirements," says Andrew Pulham, company director. "The style and superb fuel economy the B11R delivers won us over."
"In addition to the pleasing aesthetics of the vehicle, we are delighted with the smooth ride and passenger comfort the B11R provides.
The coach will be used on a Japanese touring contract throughout the UK, so giving the passengers a pleasant, safe and enjoyable trip is essential to our line of work," he adds.
