This week (12 November 2012) sees the first Longton Avia truck handed over to Stone company Vulcan Fasteners.
"We are very happy to support the new venture of Longton Avia, particularly as their vehicle not only gives us a tremendous value for money but is based here in Staffordshire," states Vulcan Fasteners managing director Steve Fox.
The 7.5 tonne vehicle has been fitted with a drop sided flay body by Commercial Body Specialists of Stoke on Trent, to Vulcan's specification and will go into service immediately as a fleet extension.
"We are delighted to be providing this truck to a local dynamic company, as it helps to demonstrate that our area of Stoke and Staffordshire is really on the up," comments Jonathan Dale, commercial director of Longton Avia.
