Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced that it is now offering a tipper body chassis cab for the Transporter.
Called the Tip-Up, it has been developed with bodybuilder Ingimex and is available for the T30 (3,200kg) and T32 (3,200kg) versions of the vehicle.
The Tip-Up body provides payloads of 800kg for the T30 and 1,000kg for the T32. Ingimex is also offering dropside bodies for the T6, referred to as its ‘Pick-Up’ range, giving payloads of around 1,000kg and 1,200kg.
Nick Axtell, specialist sales manager at VW Commercial Vehicles, says: “This is a fantastic development in what is a progressive and growing market for small tippers, and the award-winning Transporter.”
