As well as parts and servicing, WABCO says the new organisation will focus on expanding its digital portfolio, including prioritising its Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud-based technologies for commercial vehicle fleet operators.
In a statement, WABCO said the new business will also seek to build on its digital offering “to better connect the many ecosystem players in transport, including parts distributors, maintenance workshops, goods owners, rental companies, payment service providers and vehicle component providers, to mention but a few”.
Included in the Fleet Solutions portfolio will be fleet management system suite, the recently launched TX-Fuelcompass, TX-TrailerPulse and TX-TrailerFit, remote diagnostics, retrofit solutions, the WABCO academy and its parts operation including OE original, remanufactured parts and the budget part offering ProVia.
