Young designers visit Volvo Trucks’ UK site

The winners of Volvo’s ‘Truck of the Future 2050’ design competition have visited the truck manufacturer’s UK headquarters in Warwick – part of their prize – to meet the executive team.

Accompanied by runners-up and other entrants, Luo Tong Sim, pictured (under 11 years), Barry Llewellyn (11-18 years) and Rhys Guy Llewellyn (over 18 years) met managing director Arne Knaben and toured the facility.

All had the opportunity to go for a ride in a Volvo FH16-750 artic.

The three category winners, together with the runners-up George Goodfellow and Robert Hunt, will also be visiting Volvo's Gothenburg site in April to meet the Volvo Trucks design team.
