West Midlands-based MiX Vehicle Conversion Specialists is developing two variants of its lightweight Alu-pod pick-up truck body system for blue light sector applications.
With fixed and demountable designs currently being finalised, the firm says its new products will be launched at the Emergency Services Show at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, from 24—25 November.
"Alu-pod is already a tried, tested and proven design in the utilities industries, and we are now extending its capabilities to suit the blue light sector," comments Tom Dougall, account manager for MiX.
