Mercedes-Benz Actros 930-934 and Axor 944,950.5 -954

Fire may occur due to insufficient crimping of the main battery cable lugs/terminals to the battery cable, which can cause a resistance between the cable and lug/terminal. This can result in either failure of the electrical system, production of sparks, or a short circuit - and hence vehicle fire. Recall affected vehicles for a check of the crimping. If found to be out of specification, re-crimp or solder the cable lug/terminal.
