The cab tilt cylinder is connected to the frame of the cab by a pin. This pin is secured by a hexagon head bolt. The screw/bolt on some vehicles may not be tightened to the prescribed torque. As a result the cab may not be fully secure and, in the worst case could tilt unexpectedly.

Handbrake may not apply correctly. Due to an inadequate hardening process, it is possible that the pawl plate in the top of the handbrake valve can be subjected to premature wear. This can, in extremes, affect the operation of the handbrake and possible result in a vehicle roll away.

Possibility of loss of control. It has been found that tie rod interfered against I-beam on full-steering lock. If the vehicles are continuously used, in the worst case, there is a possibility that the tie rod may be damaged, thereby affecting handling. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the track rod with one of a quality assured design.

It is possible that the steering drag link end ball joint nut may not have been torqued to the correct specification. This can lead to a loosening of the nut and in extreme cases, detachment of the joint, with the associated loss of control of the vehicle.
Recall all affected vehicle and check torque of drag link end nut. If loose, replace nut and torque to the correct specification. Vehicle ID:648456 to 665343 and 741445 to 750936
Hydraulic oil may leak from the high pressure pipe to flange joint fixed to the hydraulic fan. This could cause oil to be left on the carriageway or in the worst case fire. Note: The affected vehicles should be fitted with automatically operated fire suppression equipment.
