Tail Lift Stay Safe is a new working-at-height safety device for tail-lifts. Fixed retaining arms keep rear doors in position, offering side protection from passing traffic and falls from the side of the tail-lift. In addition, a retractable strap across the rear protects against falls.

Fuel PricingMJD, road hauliers to Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) among others has announced a total transition to a hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) drop-in biofuel called GD+ across all its haulage operations from this month. The fuel will be used in MJD’s existing diesel engine trucks, with no modifications required, and is expected to cut carbon emissions by 17,000 metric tonnes of CO2e per year.

RigidsLoxam group member company Nationwide Platforms Limited, the UK provider of powered access equipment, has taken delivery of 69 Scania vehicles. They comprise a mix of 19 rigids and 50 tractor units and were supplied by West Bromwich-based Scania dealer, Keltruck. These are the first Scania vehicles to be taken by the company. An additional 48 Scania trucks are now on order for delivery later this year.
