The IVECO S-Way 490 comes with a Cursor 13 engine. Producing 490hp and 2,500Nm of torque from as low in the rev range as 1,000rpm, this model is capable of haulage over long distances.
The truck features single-reduction rear axles that are said to enable greater efficiency when cruising on long-distance routes. Further efficiency gains come from increased compression ratios, a new combustion management strategy and an Eco Mode for the automatic air conditioning system. The vehicle is offered with a specific configuration of options which can improve overall fuel efficiency by up to 4%. IVECO's Professional Fuel Advising Service can deliver up to a further 4% of savings.
The 12 Archbold IVECO trucks are expected to cover 140,000km each year. Each truck is covered by a five-year IVECO Elements repair and maintenance package.
