Knapen Trailers has launched a moving floor trailer with side doors with no fixed mid post, the EXSIDE.
Instead, once the side doors are opened, the bottom of the mid post is released from the bottom edge of the trailer. Then it hangs from the top edge, and can slide to one side.
General cargo such as pallets and big bags can be loaded and unloaded through the 12.9 metre wide side door opening.
A liftable upper rail, allows the creation of an additional 30 cm of working height during loading and unloading.
The moving floor unloads bulk cargo.
Long indivisible loads, such as long profiles, are loaded through the rear doors by a crane, thanks to a rotating upper beam above the rear doors and moveable bars.
