The £6.3 million facility has been built on a 3.25-acre greenfield site, adjacent to junction 8 of the M62, and offers new and used truck sales as well as rentals.
It features an eight-bay workshop and four-bay environmental station, and offers all-makes servicing and repair, including brake testing and tachograph calibration.
A full parts service is available, and there are plans for an ATF lane.
The facility was developed by Carefoot Group with close attention to environmental impact, and the site features an attenuation (balancing) pond for water management, motion-controlled LED lighting and heat recovery equipment.
Dealer principal Simon Dykes says the development “represents a reinforcement of our long-term commitment to the area’s transport operators and the Scania brand”.
