CTE yesterday (27 June 2012) unveiled an articulated truck-mounted platform with a capacity of 300kg and 20m working height – a significant improvement for license B platforms.
The ZED 20.2 is seeing its world premiere at Vertikal Days, Haydock, Newton-Le-Willows Park Merseyside today.
Dubbed ZED 20.2, the new platform features: improved hydraulic rotation control; ring rotation increased to 340°; stowed height of 2.5 meters; and fast-deploying, patented stabilisers.
Other features include what's described as a new ergonomic protection panel in the basket, said to ensure better visibility and ease of use (with the controls positioned tilted towards the operator); and a new boom design with higher sections that reduce boom bending.
