Designed in conjunction with trailer maker Hüffermann Transportsysteme, the Park Safety Fix (PS-Fix) is a plug-and-play solution, integrated into the wiring of a Hella EasyConn system.At its core is an electronics box, which can operate the lighting in the trailer’s decoupled state.
Control unit and battery packs are integrated into a 30 x 22 x 20cm box mounted on the vehicle’s side.
When coupled to a towing vehicle, the PS-Fix system is inactive – and is only activated once the power supply from the vehicle is interrupted. Switches enable drivers to activate the necessary parking and/or hazard warning lights. The system also has two auxiliary connections for other devices, such as work lights or beacons. PS-Fix batteries are charged by power from the towing vehicle while the trailer is coupled.
