IRTE member PC Shaun McKeown, forensic vehicle examiner for Cumbria Police's collision investigation unit, has received an outstanding achievement award from Tyresafe for his campaign work promoting tyre safety. Somerstotalkare has introduced a preventive maintenance engineer to its UK sales team. Matthew Stock, from Tamworth, has joined the company to support the existing fleet of engineers and will be covering the whole of the UK, with a primary area of Tamworth in Arden.

Aidan Flynn is the new general manager of business services at FTA Ireland (FTAI). In his new position, Flynn will be developing FTAI's business services within Ireland, particularly in the areas of training and tachograph services, compliance audits and health and safety.
