After almost 14 years as president and CEO of Volvo, Leif Johansson is leaving next summer as he reaches 60.
MAN Truck & Bus UK has strengthened its Bus & Coach team with two new sales people. David Cunliffe and David Gregory join the firm, with 60 years' experience. Both are now working alongside Matt Jacob and Richard Polley, also newly recruited to the MAN and Neoplan sales team – and all report to general manager John Hill.
Guy Heywood is the new UK and Republic of Ireland operational sales manager for trucks at Michelin, replacing Helen Tattersall who has been promoted to a group position at Michelin Lifestyle. Heywood brings over 12 years of experience in Michelin, incluidng the last six months as operational marketing manager for Truck, prior to which he was truck sales account manager in North Wales.
Jim Law has been appointed business area president for Trelleborg Automotive. He succeeds Roger Johansson, who is leaving the company.
Freight and logistics firm Dooley Rumble has recruited Warren DiDuca as UK distribution manager. Bringing experience from previous roles in TNT, Capel Express, Hayesoak and Burhill Logistics, DiDuca has experience of operating vehicles in European express haulage and national distribution. Elsewhere, former Schenkers and Maersk Logistics man Jonathan Rawlings takes on a new business development role at Dooley Rumble.
Fleet vehicle remarketing specialist Aston Barclay has appointed Alan Henson as national sales director, responsible for car manufacturers, leasing companies, rental operators and large fleet operators. Henson joins the Aston Barclay Group board alongside his predecessor David Scarborough, who has moved into the newly created role of commercial director.
Dave Bowen is the new managing director of BT Fleet, replacing Janet Entwistle, who announced her departure late in 2010. Bowen joined the firm in December 2009 as finance director, and is replaced in that position by Andrew Edginton, who joins from nPower, where he was head of financial control and planning.
