VMS Fleet Management is a forward thinking accident and fleet management company with offices based in East Anglia and Hertfordshire. VMS provides a wide range of services to blue chip fleet operators and Insurance Companies which include Accident Management, Contract Hire, Repair and Maintenance Services, Salvage and Fleet Disposal.
As part of our continued growth we are now looking to appoint two Regional Engineer Supervisor's. The role is to supervise and oversee the mobile technicians within an assigned area, which will require the successful applicant to travel regionally. This is a new role which has arisen due to the continued growth of the VMS Group and responsibilities and key tasks will include the following:
• Monitoring vehicle technicians work and efficiency
• Perform risk assessments
• Identify training and development plans
• Identify safety issues
• Being first point of contact for assigned technicians
• Liaising with and assisting Technicians
• Carry out staff appraisals
• Management Reporting
• Compile reports and presentations when needed
• An understanding of Operators Licence Laws and Regulations
• Carry out regular process reviews to identify operational issues and ensure appropriate follow up actions are taken to rectify
• Adhering to company`s Health and Safety regulations to prevent accidents within the workplace
