An ideal opportunity has arisen for a proactive Assistant Engineering Manager with a proven history in both technical and people management skills to work at our Chesterfield depot, which operates a fleet of 94 stage carriage vehicles and 11 coaches exclusively operating National Express diagrams.
As an integral part of the depot management team and reporting to the Fleet Engineer the successful applicant will be responsible for the smooth and cost effective day to day management of the engineering function within the depot.
As well as possessing an appropriate engineering qualification you will also the highest standards of vehicle presentation, within strict Health and Safety guidelines. A thorough knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and DVSA standards, with strong leadership skills and the ability to control costs within budget are also essential requirements.
