Stagecoach East Midlands operates a fleet of 500 vehicles from eight depots on local bus services in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, East Yorkshire and surrounding local authority areas.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a pro-active experienced and ambitious individual to join our senior management team in the post of Engineering Director, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
We are seeking a skilled man manager who will lead and motivate a team of 230 engineering staff to ensure high standards of service are delivered to out customers.
Candidates should be fully conversant with all legislative requirements, Health & Safety regulations, hold a CPC Transport Managers qualification and have good budgetary skills. They should also have a proven track record of successfully managing large engineering functions.
As Engineering Director you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining cost effective engineering processes, systems and codes of practice for Health & Safety. You will also be expected to deliver engineering excellence in order to help achieve further passenger growth.
