Exciting opportunity in Malta - Fleet Engineer

Arriva has recently become the sole provider of scheduled bus services on the island of Malta. The contract runs until 2021 operating up to 300 buses and employing over 900 people. As a result this growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Engineer. With engineering accountability for Malta and Gozo, this role will ensure garages attain the required engineering maintenance standards. We are looking for a suitably qualified individual with a strong technical background and a proven track record in delivering first class garage performance (including warranties and environmental responsibilities). You will be an excellent all round communicator and have an impressive track record in ensuring vehicles; premises, plant and equipment are serviced, maintained, repaired, tested, licensed, taxed, cleaned and operated in accordance with legal and Company requirements. This opportunity requires a 'hands on' approach and the ability to identify and implement best practice to ensure business targets are consistently achieved. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, along with a high level of confidence, enthusiasm and commitment.
