The successful candidate will carry out repairs and maintenance of LGV vehicles and compaction equipment, maintaining VOSA compliance standards across the fleet.
A working knowledge of the waste industry is desirable but not essential, experience with vehicle hydraulic systems and electrics would be an advantage, you will need to be a time served engineer with either NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications. Training and development will be given to the successful candidate; you should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills. You must also have an appropriate level of experience in a similar role; an LGV licence is also preferred but not essential. This is a permanent role 45 hours per week Monday – Friday; some overtime working will be required, a competitive rate of pay is on offer to the right candidate.
