The post is based within the Fleet Section at the Council's Hollingdean Depot Vehicle Workshop. The post is a multi skilled role requiring the post holder to have a flexible approach to all vehicle/plant repairs.
You will have the ability to inspect and repair medium to heavy commercial vehicles including RCV and Road Sweeper vehicles to MOT/DOT test standards and must be a time served HGV fitter.
A City and Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) and hold a full driving licence, LGV preferred.
The hours for this post are 37 per week working on the afternoon shift Monday to Friday; however a flexible approach to work is essential.
