As one of 2 fleet managers you will report to the head of department and will be key to developing and delivering the group fleet strategy. You will have a degree of autonomy within your geographic area.
This is a key fleet engineering role in a growing and successful business which requires somebody who is able to work remotely and contribute to group initiatives. Strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills are a must. You'll be managing a developing team at Leeds and communicating with service providers and our site operations managers to ensure best vehicle availability, highest standards of compliance and efficiency. Experience in Tranman fleet management software would be ideal. We have our own fleet of 250 trucks and 100 vans and you'll be integral in managing the repair agents and their overall performance.
You will also undertake national projects on behalf of the National Fleet Manager.
You preferably should have MIME Eng Tech, (A)MIRTE or (A)MSOE and CPC National and at least a Class C HGV licence.
