A committed and proactive Fleet Engineering Manager, you'll be instrumental to the success of the National Delivery Service. We have fleet of 8,500 road vehicles from five-seater cars to HGVs. They are vital in supporting the maintenance and upgrading of the railway nationwide. Travelling nationally to wherever you're needed, you'll provide expert support to the team that manages our road vehicles.
You'll bring to the role a proven, relevant professional track record. We'll expect you to demonstrate technical knowledge of road vehicles, health and safety issues related to road vehicle support, and road vehicle supply chains. Naturally, you'll also need working knowledge of VOSA and other appropriate legislation and standards. Ideally, you'll have mechanical and engineering qualifications, along with CPC Driver Management competency. You will certainly bring to the role excellent people skills, with a flair for managing staff and forging strong customer relationships.
