The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Assume full responsibility for the day-to-day business operation across all departments
- Be responsible for both operations and business development
- Manage, motivate, develop and coordinate the team through effective leadership
- Identify and implement strategic business opportunities to complement existing revenue streams
- Control costs and drive sales growth
- Ensure consistency of customer service delivered
- Continue to modernise the business
The Person
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience in a senior position, with focus on both operations and business development
- Be financially astute and experienced in setting and managing business objectives
- Have up-to-date knowledge of corporate law, employment law and health and safety regulations
- Be energetic and self-motivated and have proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Have a strong ability to create and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Have a high level of IT literacy
- Ideally have previous experience in the transport / motor industry (highly desirable)
- Ideally have previous experience in managing a workshop (desirable but not essential)
