Tower Transit Operations Limited is a part of the Transit Systems Group based in Australia. The new London based business was established in 2013 and employs over 1600 staff across three sites and operates 420 buses.

Westbourne Park Bus Garage has recently been shortlisted in the Best Vehicle Care category for the London Bus Awards 2014 and the company has entered three teams in the forthcoming IRTE Skills Challenge.
We are now looking for experienced Engineers. Successful candidates must have excellent core skills relevant to their trade with detailed vehicle maintenance related knowledge. This knowledge will have been gained through extensive workshop experience of commercial or passenger carrying vehicles. A relevant apprenticeship with appropriate qualifications, such as an NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds level 3 is desirable.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good team working skills and must hold a full, clean driving licence (holding a PCV licence would be a distinct advantage). Westbourne Park is a friendly location with a can-do approach to maintaining the vehicles to the high standards naturally demanded of a modern bus fleet. We are looking for enthusiastic like minded Engineers to join the team.
The weekly pay for the role is over £600 based on a 39 hour week, plus shift premiums, as there will be a requirement to work an early / late shift rota that includes weekends. There may be the opportunity to work some overtime and this will be paid at an enhanced rate. Additionally you will receive a pass allowing free travel for you and a nominee on London Underground and London Buses.
