We now have a vacancy for a Workshop Manager.
Our Company-owned workshops (currently 5) provide the vital link with the transport part of the Company in keeping our fleet of 250 waste vehicles on the road to service our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer to demonstrate their commercial and leadership skills and thorough understanding in all aspects of waste vehicle repair and maintenance to make their mark on this essential sector of our business.
Reporting to the Regional Fleet Engineer you will be required to lead, motivate and develop a team of 5, including 4 technicians and a labourer, to deliver the best possible service in terms of quality and standards to the waste collection part of our business to keep the Banbury Depot s 38 vehicle fleet maintained for maximum up time, in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
You should have at least 5 years experience in the waste management industry in a similar role, the required technical expertise and possess strong leadership skills. You should also be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and databases and be a confident communicator, both written and verbal.
This is a full time salaried position and, along with the usual benefits, a company vehicle will be provided.
