Beverly Bell to sponsor SOE awards 2024

The Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) has announced Beverley Bell Consulting & Training as the latest sponsor for its upcoming Safety & Resilience in Engineering Awards 2024.

Beverley Bell Consulting & Training, led by Beverley Bell CBE, has been advocating for road safety, compliance, and high standards in the transport and logistics industries. A respected and influential figure, Bell became the first female traffic commissioner when she was appointed for the North West of England in 2000. Bell went on to serve as senior traffic commissioner for Great Britain from 2012 to 2017. In recognition of her contributions to road safety and the freight industry, she was awarded a CBE in the 2017 Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

Sponsoring the 'Road Transport Engineer of the Year' award reflects the consultancy’s commitment to recognising and rewarding outstanding individual contributions to the road transport sector.

The award will celebrate an individual who has demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and commitment to advancing road transport engineering. This award highlights professionals who have made significant contributions to vehicle safety, efficiency, and compliance within the road transport sector.

The SOE Safety & Resilience in Engineering Awards 2024 will take place on 17 October at ThinkTank, Birmingham Museums.
