Totalkare has supplied two sets of four T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts.Connecting across a wireless network, each column can lift up to 7,500kg and features adjustable forks to accommodate a range of wheel diameters. For tri- and four-axle vehicles, the lifts can also be connected in configurations of six and eight columns, making them a truly versatile lifting solution for any commercial vehicle workshop.
Both sets of mobile column lifts will be supported by a service contract which includes two field service engineer visits per year as standard.
The mobile column lifts are complemented by a set of six short support stands which, when used in conjunction with mobile column lifts provide the operative with additional flexibility and safety in the maintenance of their vehicles.By supporting the wheel axle, a support stand enables the mobile column lift to be removed, allowing wheel-free access to the engineer.
Birmingham Busworks, which grew out of the bodywork division of The Green Bus, installs certified retrofitted seatbelts to help operators to comply with contractual or legal requirements. In addition, its driver safety vent innovation is a cost-effective measure to reduce driver exposure to air from the passenger saloon of the vehicle, helping to protect them and the operator’s business.
“We’ve previously used Totalkare’s mobile column lifts at The Green Bus, so were familiar with the quality of their lifts and aftersales service,” said Joseph Banks, technical service executive at Birmingham Busworks. “Being able to spread the cost over 12 months suited us, and we’re pleased with the added flexibility our new mobile column lifts will provide as our business continues to grow.”
