Food packaging and consumables supplier Bunzl Catering Supplies has taken delivery of a new fleet of Mercedes-Benz Actros tractors, supplied on contract hire with fleet management services from Prohire.
The latest order brings the number of Prohire-supplied vehicles in the operator’s fleet to 110, and includes panel vans, Luton-bodied vehicles, rigids and semi-trailers.
“Prohire is a good company to work with,” says Phil Haskew, national transport manager for the Bunzl Catering Supplies.
“Firstly, it’s able to tailor its support to suit our specific needs – in effect, providing a bespoke transport solution. Secondly, the whole Prohire team is very accessible, so it’s easy to get to speak to whoever you need, and they are always responsive.”
