The feasibility study, funded by Innovate UK, has been exploring how the use of more information and data can improve the safety, efficiency, and environmental performance of logistics fleets operating in and around cities.

As part of the research, Cenex interviewed commercial fleet operators, as well as cities and regions, to consider the challenges they face. FPS has been analysing the data collected to assess the efficacy of current solutions and how this information can be used to improve logistics operations in urban environments.

Steve Carroll, head of research and technical services at Cenex, Beth Morley, human insights lead at Cenex, and Ben Fletcher, senior analyst at FPS, will be hosting a webinar on February 27th at 10am. They will discuss their findings around how data can be used to develop systems that improve safety and efficiencies for fleets operating in and around cities.

This webinar will reveal insights of particular interest to businesses with large fleets, logistics operators, those looking to improve traffic management in cities, smart city planners, and data analysts.
