The organisers of Euro Bus Expo 2014 – the biennial trade show for the bus and coach sector – are promising visitors a packed programme of launches and announcements from the 280-plus exhibitors for the event.
Taking place on 4-6 November at the NEC, Birmingham, Euro Bus Expo will play host to vehicle manufacturers such as Scania, Wrightbus, ADL and the Associated Moseley Companies, along with suppliers of related products and services.
Three zones will allow visitors to find the products and services most relevant to them. The Technology Zone will showcase the latest technical developments shaping the bus and coach industry.
The Environmental zone will play host to exhibitors offering products and services for cleaner, more efficient fleets.
And the Accessibility Zone will be dedicated to vehicles, products and services for operators of community and local authority transport.
A masterclass theatre will present seminars each day on subjects such as the future of bus and coach travel, best practice for driver safety, technology insights for tachographs and accident avoidance, and much more.
Transport secretary Patrick McLoughlin is scheduled to attend on the second day of the event (5 November), with Baroness Kramer, minister of state for transport, due to visit on the last day (6 November).
