First, Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK has named Leo Group as a new partner in Scotland, with initial locations in Aberdeen and Inverness representing Mercedes-Benz and FUSO trucks. The environmental, renewable energy and recycling company trades as Bell Truck & Van in the North-East of England. Bell Truck & Van has sites in Billingham, Longbenton, Spennymoor and Stockton-on-Tees.

It joins Scottish dealer Western Commercials based in Glasgow, Belshill, Edinburgh and Dundee.

Second, Bedfordshire company Arlesey Car & Commercials has been appointed a full dealer for Isuzu Truck UK covering Bedfordshire as well as parts of Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, offering a full sales, service and parts support operation to customers in that area. The dealership has easy access to junction 10 of the A1 and junction 13 of the M1. Other nearby Isuzu Truck dealers include Wrights Commercials in Cogenhoe, Northamptonshire and DT Trucks Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.
It will complement Ryder’s existing used vehicle sales sites in Avonmouth (Bristol) and Rainham, Essex, offering significant parking for all types of used vehicle. A team of six technicians will be based at the new centre that features a three-bay workshop.
