In a bid to reduce noise levels during customer deliveries, Dulux Decorator Centres has invested in an electric van from Smith Electric Vehicles.
Beverley Whitehead, marketing and communications manager at Dulux Decorator Centres, describes the van – with its 80 mile range and top speed of 50mph – as ideal for West London.
She says that the addition of the van is a tribute to the company's "ongoing commitment to be a greener business".
And she adds: "The introduction of the electric van at Westfield, on a site of this size has been extremely beneficial. The paint and supplies have been delivered throughout the development easily and cost effectively, while at the same time reducing the greenhouse gas emissions."
