Euro 5 Mercedes-Benz vans Sprint onto Partridge fleet

Staffordshire-based haulage company Partridge Transport Services is now running its first five low-emission Euro 5 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans.
The firm operates a fleet of 16 Sprinters, used to carry everything from food products and flat pack furniture, to personal protective equipment and vending machines, nationwide. Partridge Transport Services' latest Long-bodied Sprinters are 313CDI vans and were supplied by Wolverhampton dealer Midlands Truck & Van. Power comes from a 129bhp engine that meets Euro 5 emissions regulations, and is claimed to be 15% more fuel-efficient than its predecessor – equating to an extra 4.5 miles per gallon, while CO2 emissions are down by 13%. Proprietor Neil Partridge says: "Between them, our Mercedes-Benz vans clock-up many hundreds of thousands of miles each year and have proved to be reliable workhorses. "So I have no doubt that these new Euro 5 models will prove to be every bit as dependable, while also helping us to cut our fuel costs and reduce our carbon footprint."
