The software can be downloaded to a desktop or Android and iOS mobile devices, and it enables users to identify a competitor filter element and select the Parker alternative part number.
Par Fit contains three modules to guide users through the selection process: the first, called Interchange Element Selector, can be used when the manufacturer part number is known.
The second module, called Element Expert, is for those users with an unidentified element. A step-by-step process including visual ID, line drawings and data sheets to determine the part and its appropriate replacement.
The final toolkit module is OEMAPPS, which allows users to find the correct Par Fit part number by vehicle type – or make and model – against an industry database.
