Training provider Fleet Source will deliver Transport for London’s latest D-CPC course, called Truck Smart, from next month (October).
The appointment was announced following a successful tender by Fleet Source, which also delivers other TfL courses such as Safe Urban Driving.
Truck Smart is a seven-hour, FORS-accredited training course for all commercial HGV drivers, with a supporting toolkit for fleet managers. The aim is to equip them with the knowledge and skills to operate and manage safe and roadworthy vehicles.
The course content focuses on the importance of driving roadworthy HGVs and the role of the driver in ensuring that vehicles and loads are safe and legal at all times.
