Former Goodyear man joins Giti in new marketing role

Giti Tire has appointed Richard Hutchins (pictured) to the new role of senior product marketing manager for Europe for its truck and bus division.

Hutchins – who spent 25 years with Goodyear – will focus on new product development, strategy and on expanding OE and replacement business for Giti's truck and bus tyres, including the Radial and Primewell brands.

He reports to Peter Foulkes, marketing director for Europe, and will be based in the UK head office in Northwich.

Foulkes says of Hutchins: "His experience has been proven time and time again in an impressive career in the tyre industry. He will be an invaluable asset to our business as we constantly improve our marketing offering and cement our position in the mid-market."
