Fraikin delivers on service for office products supplier

Office products supplier Lyreco has extended its fleet with 82 Renault Master 3.5-tonne vans and four DAF 7.5-tonne rigids fitted with box bodies and tail-lifts.
Supplied by fleet management business Fraikin, the DAF rigids are replacements for existing vehicles and have been supplied on a five-year, full-service contract hire. The Renault Masters are on a similar four-year agreement. The vans and trucks join 77 other Fraikin vehicles in Telford-based Lyreco's nationwide fleet. The Renault vans were specified with reversing cameras and bleepers, and have been limited to 62mph in a bid to help Lyreco meet its 20% carbon footprint reduction by 2020. Fraikin will be responsible for 'O' licence compliance, MOT testing, roadside assistance and servicing, and will also supply substitute vehicles as required to minimise downtime – crucial for Lyreco to meet its next-day delivery promise. "We have worked with Fraikin for the last eight years, and we have a high level of trust in our relationship," says Jennie Lucas, Lyreco's national distribution manager.
