Its new tyres have a load index of 164K/158L, but are also classified as winter tyres with the M+S marking, and offering good fuel economy, wet grip and low noise, as per the EU tyre label.
“The attractive price levels of Fulda truck tyres along with the benefits offered by the new Ecotonn 2 HL 10 tonne trailer tyres makes this tyre a very attractive choice for fleets,” comments Marc Preedy, commercial director Goodyear Dunlop UK.
He says that, as well as the robust carcass construction, which provides for a high level of retreadability, the main feature of this new tyre is its tread, which has six wide ribs designed to withstand the stresses experienced by trailer tyres.
This gives, he says, leads to high mileage and good resistance to damage.
