Glanbia Consumer Foods Ireland says it has won a new client as a result of the real-time information available to its sales team through Masternaut's telematics.
The firm, which is now distributing sports nutrition product Optimum Nutrition across of Ireland, says its sales team uses Masternaut to track each vehicle through the integrated smartphone application.
It also uses the technology's in-cab alerting functionality, allowing fleet managers to deploy drivers rapidly, as pick-ups are flagged.
"Masternaut was certainly a key selling point during the tendering process and enabled Glanbia CFI to showcase one element of its best-in-class approach to supply chain management," states Glanbia CFI logistics manager Denis Conway.
