The survey – via the link below – is part of LowCVP’s work with the government on shaping a set of proposals for ultra-low emission truck (ULET) standards to encourage technology developments for the next generation of fuel-efficient, sustainable HGVs.
Operators are asked what proportion of a truck’s distances travelled are typically on city, urban, regional roads or motorways, and how those proportions vary by size and weight of HGV. The survey also asks for information on typical daily and weekly mileages and fuel consumption for conventional diesel-powered HGVs.
LowCVP says all responses will be held in strict confidence and anonymised to provide overall UK HGV fleet estimates.
