London-based waste collection and disposal business Greenline Environmental has taken delivery of a new 26-tonne Mercedes-Benz Econic, supplied from stock by Refuse Vehicle Solutions (RVS).
Greenline launched its pay-by-weight trade refuse service on 1 October, and the new rear-steer vehicle is equipped with Hillend Powerlink body and UTL Trade bin lift, along with an Enviroweigh bin weighing system from Vehicle Weighing Solutions.
Key to the deal was the swift availability of the fully equipped vehicle, from RVS’s direct from stock service called RediTruck.
“RVS provides a very efficient service and I don’t know where else you could go to get a new refuse truck this quickly,” says Darryn Hodges, director at Greenline.
“But more importantly they are good people to work with and I trust them. They supply high quality vehicles and if there are any problems I know they won’t let me down.”
