Pork pie manufacturer Vale of Mowbray has taken delivery of five DAF LF45 7.5-tonne trucks, supplied on contract hire by Ryder.
The trucks have Solomon chilled bodies fitted with Carrier refrigeration units, and join four 18-tonne DAFs previously supplied by Ryder.
The latest additions will go into operation on van sales and multi-drop deliveries for the Yorkshire-based manufacturer, and are supplied with Ryder's FleetCare online management system.
The contract includes guaranteed call-out in the event of a breakdown.
"This is the third time that we have renewed a contract with Ryder, as the level of customer service it provides makes for an unbeatable choice," says Steve Watson, van sales manager for Vale of Mowbray.
