The first two to arrive were 12.m, 61-seater Panthers, with three 57-seater Leopards due to join them this month.
The Panthers have CCTV, wood-effect flooring, DVD system, USB chargers, and real-time tracking and telematics systems.
Both have D8K engines and I-Shift transmissions – “a combination that has proved to be a winner for us,” says James Horseman, company director of Horseman, which is the UK coach operator of the year.
He adds: “All of our new coaches are ULEZ compliant, which is a critical factor as we do a lot of business in London and across the south of England. They also form part of our long-range investment in fleet modernisation and underpin our determination to remain at the forefront of the transport sector.”
The operator’s fleet includes Plaxton’s Cheetah XL, Leopard, Elite and Panther models. Plaxton is a brand manufactured by Alexander Dennis.
