HRVS scoops 2013 R&M Workshop award

HRVS, MAN Truck & Bus UK's main Truck Centre in Sheffield, has been crowned Repair & Maintenance Workshop of the Year at the Motor Transport awards.
The HRVS and MAN uptime ethos was instrumental in winning over the judges, who said: "HRVS reported an impressive 98% first time annual test pass rate." The judges were also impressed with the 50-minute average attendance times to roadside incidents, as well as zero refusals for call-outs – of all the entrants, HRVS ticked boxes in all the categories. "Needless to say, we're all absolutely made up at being named an MT Awards winner," commented Keith Sims, group operations director at HRVS Group. "It's great news for both HRVS and MAN... Of course, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my team at Sheffield who have worked tirelessly to make us Repair & Maintenance Workshop of the Year – they can all be very proud of themselves," he added. The HRVS Sheffield site recently received £1.5 million worth of investment and has become the first commercial vehicle workshop in the UK to attain A+ status as part of the IRTE's new Workshop Accreditation programme – the industry-wide scheme designed in conjunction with the FTA to independently audit workshop performance.
